Alfonso's has the best pizza around for any price. I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids.
We have patronized Alfonso's since they day they opened. We like to encourage the small, local entrepreneur; especially when they have a good product.
All that changed tonight. We ordered 2 pizzas, which their manager delivered. Our 15 year-old answered the door and gave him $30, expecting some change. Instead, the manager left with the cash, not even offering change or a receipt.
My wife went to the restaurant and spoke with both the owner and the manager regarding this 'misunderstanding'. She didn't ask for a refund, rather she simply wanted to gauge their response. At no time was an apology offered. The only explanation offered was that this sort of a tip was not unusual, and that it was not the manager's policy to offer change. What??
Bottom line: shame on both of you! You stiffed a kid and lost a loyal customer.
