Former New York mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani will be in McKinney to participate in a fundraiser golf tournament and luncheon March 20 at the TPC at Craig Ranch.
The Collin County Host Committee has planned the event in the past two weeks.
"[Giuliani] is in Fort Worth the night before and Dallas the night of the tournament," organizer Bill Darling said. "They asked us if we wanted to put something together and we said, ’You bet.’"
Darling emphasized that supporters from across Collin County are invited to participate.
A continental breakfast will precede an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The luncheon begins at 1:30 p.m. Giuliani will address the attendees at the luncheon.
Giuliani will play three holes with six different groups. Those spots, which are priced at $2,300, have sold out. The cost is $750 for the golf tournament and lunch. There are 120 spots available. There are 30 spots available for lunch only at $500. Funds raised benefit the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Exploratory Committee.
