Snow?

Woke up to a recorded phone call this morning...” your daughters school has been canceled due to inclement weather” What??? Ran to the window and there was a sheet of ice and a sprinkle of snow on the streets! Just days ago the weatherman called for the worst ice storm in 15 years and we got rain. Last night no mention of sow or ice, and now this? The DFW weather people need to go back to weather school.

Work was delayed, so on the way in I drove by Adriatica and snapped a few photos of the big snow storm. You can see in the picture of the house that the surrounding lots do have the electrical utilities in place, indicating that some of the town homes to be built must be starting soon. In the other picture you can see a big pipe of some sort, possibly for drainage??

The drive around McKinney really is pretty bad if you are on a street that hasn’t been sanded. In Plano there is precipitation coming down, which will make things much more treacherous this evening.
