McKINNEY, Texas - The 2,200-acre Craig Ranch has scored a corporate coup, winning its first headquarters tenant for a newly unveiled $575 million employment district.
The developer and Craig Ranch's partner, Dallas-based KDC, will build a 160,000 square-foot to 200,000 square-foot campus-style office complex on 12 acres at the corner of the Texas 121 and Stacy Road in McKinney. The Dallas Morning News has reported Craig Ranch's win is Traxxas LP, a Plano-based manufacturer of radio-controlled hobby cars, boats and other vehicles.
According to the developer, up to 150 employees will be housed at the campus. The company is projecting an annual payroll of $7 million.
