A FREE family concert will be held in McKinney’s Adriatica featuring the Maylee Thomas Band, Lone Star Attitude and headliner, country sensation Little Big Town and will conclude with a brilliant fireworks display.  Festival activities located near the concert will include rock climbing, bounce houses, face painting, obstacle courses and Games2U.  Miss Texas 2006 Shilah Phillips will kick off the festivities with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem.  The Smiles for Habitat concert and festival will celebrate months of hard work by hundreds of volunteers to make the dream of home ownership a reality for one McKinney family.   There will be many vendors including Mama Emilia’s restaurant with concessions for sale. Each vendor will donate 20% of their proceeds back to Smiles for Habitat.
