The first charter school in Collin County will make its new home in McKinney.Life School, which first opened in Oak Cliff in 1998, will be opening its newest school Aug. 18 at 4045 W. Eldorado Pkwy., formerly the Family Worship Center.“It’s a beautiful building, a wonderful location,” said Tom Wilson, superintendent of the Life School District.Life School received approval from the state last May to bring the school into McKinney.
