A great steak in downtown McKinney

This weekend we finally tried Goodhues Grill in historic downtown McKinney. They primarily sell steaks and some seafood. I opted for the ribs, which were good, but my wife had the 8 ounce filet. The filet was exceptional, and had a very smokey taste. It was unusual to have a smokey flavor in the filet, but once again, it was very good. We sat in the enclosed porch at the front of the restaurant, but I recommend sitting in the main dining are, where there is much more atmosphere. Make sure you stroll around the square when you are done and check out some of the restaurants and wine bars that have popped up. There are now horse driven carriages in the square that will take you on a short tour of the downtown area.
