Apparently the Hank Haney Golf Ranch on Custer may possibly be in the process of being sold to developers.The City of McKinney P&Z has received an application for rezoning from Agriculture to "PD", or Planned Development. As noted below, DHRI, Inc. Is also known as DR Horton Homes. See below:

1. Conduct a Public Hearing to Consider/Discuss/Act on the Request by DRHI, Inc., on Behalf of Hank Haney Golf Course, for Approval of a Request to Rezone 39.84 Acres from “AG”-Agricultural District to “PD”-Planned Development District for Multi-Family Uses, Located on the Northeast Corner of Custer Road and Future Silverado Parkway.

2. Conduct a Public Hearing to Consider/Discuss/Act on the Request by DRHI Inc., on Behalf of Hank Haney Golf Course, for Approval of a Request to Rezone 16.105 Acres From “AG” – Agricultural District to “PD” – Planned Development District for Residential Uses, Located East of Rowlett Creek and South of Future Silverado Parkway.
